April 20-21: The Bubba Tournament
Day one: 8:30 AM Shotgun start.
Day two: Tee times based on 1st day score. Starting at 11 AM.
Higher flights tee off first.
Cost: $150 for Non-Members. $60 + cart fees for members. 
Breakdown:
  • Purse is $50 per player.
  • Green Fees: $90 for non-members.  Cart fee for members.
  • Food: $10 Following 2nd round.
  • Burgers, Chips and drinks.

Rules Sheet: Bubba Tournament April 20-21

Format: 2 person Captain’s choice with a twist.

Flights will be based on first round score.

For example. 32 teams will be split into four flights of 8 players. Top three teams in each flight will be paid.


Each player hits one tee shot. If your drive is selected you will hit one 2nd shot. If your tee shot is not selected you will hit two shots. The Bubba (extra shot) will rotate from there. Basically, it is a three-person Captain’s Choice except for the tee shot. The player who’s tee shot is NOT selected has the first Bubba shot and it alternates from there. YOU WILL NEVER HIT THE BUBBA SHOT TWICE IN A ROW!

 

Tees:
64 and Under: White Tees
65+:  Gold Tees
Ladies:  Mixture of Red and Tiffany Blue tees.

Some men may play the red tees at the discretion of the tournament committee.

 

USGA Rules apply
You may Lift Clean and Place your ball within one club length everywhere except on the green.
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes and all roads.
Stroke and distance. We are not playing the 2 strokes and drop rule.
Penalty areas are marked with red stakes.
Sand Traps are played as waste area: Play out of white sand.  

Red rocky sand is Ground under repair. (Free drop no closer to the hole)

Local Rules:
Hole #7: Free drop from mulch in the cart turn-around. Drop left of path nearest point no closer to hole

Hole #12: Penalty area on the left is marked by the cart path. You may hit out of penalty area. You may take a drop right of cart path one stroke penalty.
Hole #14: Free drop from garden area. Drop left of the cart path, no closer to the hole.

Hole#18: Free drop from mulch beds over the cart path behind green.

April 27: SEANC District 6 Scholarship Tournament
Registration and lunch 12:30pm
Shotgun start 1:30pm
1 player $75, foursome $300

April 28: Parent (Adult) - Junior Tournament
Nothing beats a little friendly competition when it comes to family fun – especially when you’re on the same team!
Bring your Junior (8 years old through high school) out for a fun 9-hole 2-person scramble! We will have age-appropriate tees set up. Trophies for gross and net winners.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Adult partners must be at least 18 years old and cannot compete with more than one junior golfer.

Cost: $65 per team. Includes: 9-Hole greens fees, cart fees and range balls.

Start Time: 5:00 PM Shotgun start

Format: Scramble.

Awards: Medals will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each age group. Age groups will be determined based on the ages in the field.

Tiebreaker: The winner will be determined on the basis of the team score on the last nine holes, last six holes, last three holes and finally the last hole. If the teams are still tied, continue backward from the last hole until a winner is determined.

A fundraiser for Friends for Animals

8:30am Shotgun

2 – Player teams, handicap or average score required.

Format: 3 holes play your own ball, 3 holes captain’s choice, 3 holes alternate shot, plus some other shenanigans…!

PLUS: Best Hat Contest! Judged on size, outrageousness and number of holes worn while playing!

Entry Fee: $50/ player ($25+cart members). Optional Mulligan package $10/team.

We had such a positive response to our Valentine Sweetheart two person Captains Choice we are going to do another event.
Again, it will be a Captain’s Choice but we will mix it up a little just to keep things fresh.  We will have some food and drinks following the round.
Like last time, if you don’t have a partner, we will do our best to pair you with someone.
