Alex Bock emerged as the 2025 Burke County Open Champion after a stellar three-day performance. He opened the tournament with a 67 at Mimosa Hills and followed it up with a 69 at Silver Creek, taking a two-shot lead into the final round.

Bock came out strong on the final day, making the turn in 3-under-par 33 and building a commanding lead. However, Dylan Lancaster, who would go on to finish runner-up, wasn’t ready to back down. Lancaster birdied three of the next five holes to pull within two shots of the lead. Bock responded like a true champion, birdieing two of the most challenging holes at Silver Creek—15 and 16—to regain a four-shot cushion and secure a comfortable victory.

Chase Holland finished solo third at 1-under-par, highlighted by a spectacular hole-in-one on day two. Defending champion Steve Jetter delivered a solid showing across all three rounds, finishing even par for the tournament.

In the Senior Division, Keith McGillvary fired an impressive final-round 69 to edge out Keith Avery by a single shot, claiming the title for the second consecutive year.

David Simpson played consistently throughout the weekend, finishing at even par to take home the Super Senior Championship.

Well played, everyone!
